Jolene Ch. Afara Jolene BISS Ch. Tafarnwr Dreadnaught x BISS Ch. Afara Zaphira OFA "Good" and Eyes "Normal"
Jolene is our best structured dog, maybe the best structured dog we have bred in 44 years of breeding and showing. She is known for her coordinated floating huge side-gait, level topline, long-neck and sloping shoulder and matching rear angulation. Jolene's quality was evident at 3 weeks, when the litter first got on their feet.
	At 11 months and her first show, Jolene won Winners Bitch/Best of Winners at the 2007 Cardigan Welsh Corgi Club of Southern California Specialty under Joe Gregory. Then shown for the second time at the 2007 NorthWest Cardigan Fanciers Supported Entry under Pembroke breeder judge Nancy Smith Jolene won Winners Bitch /Best of Winners. Finally shown for the third time at the 2008 NorthWest Cardigan Fanciers Supported Entry under John Studebaker she again won Winners Bitch/Best of Winners finishing her championship. During pictures Mr. Studebaker told us that he would have given Jolene BOB if we had stayed on her instead of showing our special, Truman. In our 44 years of showing dogs we have never finished a dog in 3 shows. Thank you to all the judges and other breeders who have appreciated Jolene's quality.
